Infrastructure Prioritisation
Project Management • Stakeholder Engagement • Strategic Advice
Through work completed for the Greater Sydney / Cities Commission, ClarityPM has delivered strategic planning initiatives that helped shape how infrastructure needs are identified, assessed and prioritised across growing urban areas.
This included:
-
Supporting the review of regional and district plans,
-
Preparing project planning and governance frameworks,
-
Coordinating inter-agency input, and
-
Managing research to inform city-shaping decisions.
For the Place-based Infrastructure Compact (PIC) program, a key area of value was translating complex land use, growth and service data into practical planning inputs that supported infrastructure sequencing and prioritisation across sectors, precincts and timeframes. This experience supported the evolution of place-based planning for the following projects:
-
Growth Infrastructure Compact Pilot for Greater Parramatta and the Olympic Peninsula focusing on understanding infrastructure requirements, costs and servicing implications.
-
Western Parkland City Place-based Infrastructure Compact focusing understanding green infrastructure requirements and costs in line with demographic forecasts.
-
Macquarie Park Strategic Infrastructure and Services Assessment focusing on identifying a future vision, demographic demand, infrastructure need and associated costs.
